Qualifications

• Able to prepare Workpapers, Compilation FS and a T2 Return for a Canadian corporation in a day.
• Sufficient and current knowledge of corporate and personal tax regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own list of clients and take responsibility for their client experience
• Prepare these deliverables for the client : bookkeeping, T2 & T1 Returns, Compilations, GST, and TSlips
• Communicate tax and accounting concepts to clients and answer their questions
• Develop efficiencies through the effective use of technology

Qualifications and expectations

• Able to prepare Workpapers, Compilation FS and a T2 Return for a Canadian corporation in a day
• Ability to practically apply knowledge of the Income Tax Act, GAAP, and CRA best practices
• Sufficient and current knowledge of corporate and personal tax regulations and experience with tax software
• Respectful and responsive communication practices and customer service

The compensation for this role has a base salary of $36k, plus a % of each file completed. The expected total compensation is around $72k, but may range from $60k to $100k depending on how much work is delivered.
