Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Inc. is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily accounting operations at the resort. The role manages cash sheet reconciliation, AP/AR, and leads a small accounting team, ensuring accurate financial records and timely reporting.

The successful candidate will enforce internal controls, maintain compliance with company policies, and collaborate with head office and resort departments to support finance and administrative functions.

Qualifications

• Accounting background and/or education required.
• Leadership experience is an asset.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and problem-solve independently.
• Experience with POS systems for reporting is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day to day accounting functions, including cash sheet entries, petty cash, and safe balance.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, including invoice processing, vendor payments, customer billing, and collections when necessary.
• Perform and review monthly, and year-end reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Train, supervise and evaluate the resort cash audit team to maintain high performance standards.
• Support resort revenue departments to ensure accuracy of point-of-sale systems for reporting purposes.
• Monitor sales taxes as recorded on cash sheets and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
• Act as the primary contact with head office staff for financial and administrative matters.
• Ensure knowledge of, compliance with, and training on RCR policies, procedures, and OHS programs.
