Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Accounting Supervisor supports the Finance & Accounting Department by handling invoice processing, vendor payments, sales reconciliation, and related administrative tasks. The role ensures accuracy and compliance with tax laws and accounting standards, and works with both national and international vendors, including handling foreign exchange and complex invoices.

T&T Supermarket Inc. was founded in 1993 with two stores in BC. Since then, it has expanded rapidly and is now Canada’s largest Asian supermarket chain with 37 stores across the country : 14 in BC, 7 in Alberta, 14 in Ontario, and 2 in Quebec. The Company’s continuous expansion is going to bring more new stores in the next couple of years.

• Review and reconcile daily store sales and receipts.
• Investigate and follow up on cash discrepancies with Store Cashier Head.
• Organize and validate invoices and supporting documents.
• Ensure payment authorization aligns with company policy.
• Input and process invoices, credit card payments, and staff reimbursements.
• Apply accurate tax, discounts, credits, and GL coding.
• Process payments for vendors and staff based on system terms.
• Analyze and reconcile vendor accounts.
• Compare vendor invoices to receiving reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Support month-end closing with adjustments and accruals.
• Assist streamline accounting processes.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or other relevant professional certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of related work experience in accounting, preferably in a high transaction volume industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with Macola 10 is an asset (training will be provided)
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to communicate in Chinese (Cantonese / Mandarin) is an asset.
