Job summary

PCL Constructors Westcoast Inc. in Richmond, BC, seeks an Accounting Student to support the Finance & Commercial Risk Management team. The role runs 4–12 months starting January 2027 and reports to the Accounting Manager.

You will assist with invoices, reconciliations, and reporting while gaining exposure to inter‑company invoicing and board meeting prep. You will work on entry‑level accounting tasks, MS Office tools, and general office support with potential for growth within PCL.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Superior organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Must be proficient on the computer and have intermediate skills in MS software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Entering invoices into the PCL accounting system.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Inter-company invoicing.
• Courier and phone costing.
• Running and updating reports.
• Fielding telephone calls, filing and data entry, typing correspondence and formatting documents.
• Filling in for office receptionist as required.
• Assisting with board meeting preparation and logistics.
• Assisting with overflow work from other administrative staff.
