Job summary

PCL Constructors Canada Inc. in Winnipeg is seeking an Accounting Student for a four-month term starting in January 2027, with potential to extend to 8 or 12 months.

You will contribute to our team by entering invoices, bank reconciliations, inter-company invoicing and reporting in the accounting system. This role offers hands-on experience on real projects, mentorship through PCL’s College of Construction, and opportunities for future full-time roles.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accounting or finance program.
• Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheets.
• Ability to learn accounting software and perform basic tasks accurately.

Responsibilities

• Entering invoices into the PCL accounting system.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Inter-company invoicing.
• Courier and phone costing.
• Running and updating reports.
• Visa card reconciliations.
• Preparing accounts receivable report.
• Weekly cheque printing.
• Client progress billings.
• Subcontract administration.
