Job summary

PCL in Oakville is hiring an Accounting Student for the Solar District to gain hands-on experience on real projects while supporting accounting processes. The role emphasizes learning, mentorship, and pathways to future full-time opportunities within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook with the ability to organize data, perform basic analysis, and communicate professionally.
• Intention to pursue a CPA designation post-graduation is considered a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for entering invoices, bank and Visa reconciliations into the PCL accounting system.
• Supports with courier and phone costing as well as running and updating reports.
• Helps reconcile supplier statements and preparing accounts receivable reports.
• Supports activities such as weekly cheque printing, client progress billings, and subcontract administration.

We are seeking anAccounting Student,for ourSolar Districtthatis available for 4-12 months starting January 2027.

The estimated hourly range for this role is $19.57- $28.88, based on your experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed as part of a personalized offer.
