Job summary

PCL Constructors Canada Inc. in Ottawa, Ontario is looking for an Accounting Student to gain practical experience on real projects and support our finance team. You will work on A/P, journal entries, deposits, cash receipts and vendor management in a hands-on environment.

The role is a four-month internship starting January 2027, with mentorship, learning opportunities and potential full-time prospects. Competitive weekly pay and benefits are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Working towards a degree or diploma in accounting, finance or a related field.
• A deep understanding of accounting principles.
• Intermediate level skills with Microsoft programs, specifically Excel.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Completes project and overhead-related A/P and journal entries.
• Monitors and reconciles transfer of funds from corporate office.
• Prepares and processes bank deposits.
• Processes and enters cash receipts.
• Verifies vendor addresses and enters into the accounting system.
• Enters and processes revisions.

The estimated salary range for this role is$20.25 to $30.00,based on your experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed as part of a personalized offer.
