Salary : 50,000.00 CAD to 60,000.00 CAD per annum

Our client is a privately held firm that provides alternative investment products for Canadian resident investors. They are the driving force behind the creation, distribution, and administration of tax-efficient investment products that fuel Canada’s natural resource sector.

Join a dynamic investment management firm located in downtown Vancouver. We specialize in creating, managing, and distributing high-quality investment products and are seeking a motivated and confident Accounting Specialist with a focus on accounts payable to join our team.

Responsibilities :

• Manage accounts payable functions, including processing invoices and expense reports, obtaining approvals, and ensuring timely payments.
• Maintain and update accrued liabilities schedules.
• Oversee intercompany invoicing and payment processing.
• Prepare and record journal entries.
• Perform bank account reconciliations and deposits.
• Maintain schedules and provide support during year-end audits.
• Assist with other general accounting tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements :

• At least 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable or a junior-level accounting role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• A proactive attitude with the ability to take initiative and complete tasks effectively.
• Full-time, in-office attendance is mandatory.
