Job summary

Randstad Canada is assisting a client seeking an Integration Accounting Manager - System Integration. You will lead on-site at a newly acquired subsidiary, documenting end-to-end workflows and migrating core functions from Sage 50 to Corporate Shared Services, while ensuring uninterrupted operations.

You will map charts of accounts and master files, perform reconciliations, and govern the migration with IT coordination.

Qualifications

• CPA designation or equivalent senior/managerial accounting experience with strong operational exposure.
• Direct hands-on experience migrating legacy ERP systems (Sage 50, NetSuite or Dynamics).
• Deep understanding of job costing, intercompany workflows, and shared services models.
• Strong project management and change management capabilities.
• Ability to work 5 days per week on-site, splitting time between Mississauga/Oakville and Niagara Falls facilities as required.

Responsibilities

• Document end-to-end financial and operational workflows across billing, AR, AP, payroll, and month-end close.
• Lead the ERP migration from Sage 50 and coordinate data backup, opening balances, and cutover.
• Map COA, customer/vendor master files, and dimensional fields to corporate structure.
• Perform reconciliations for GL, AR, AP with data integrity testing.
• Develop SOPs and train Shared Services on migrated workflows.
• Deliver weekly CFO updates detailing Completed Tasks, Next Steps, and Risks.
• Act as a change agent to mitigate key-person risk and build staff trust.

Our client is looking for an Integration Accounting Manager - System Integration to act as the primary on-site lead at a newly acquired subsidiary. In this high-impact role, you will document end-to-end financial and operational workflows, lead the transition from Sage 50 and systematically migrate core accounting functions into Corporate Shared Services while maintaining operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities

Process Mapping & Operational Analysis

• Document key workflows, approval matrices, and system touchpoints across billing, AR/collections, AP, banking, payroll, month-end close, and job costing.
• Identify key-person dependencies, critical vendor/customer relationships, process gaps, and opportunities for automation.

ERP Migration & System Governance

• Lead the end-to-end migration from Sage 50 including complete data backup and historical preservation.
• Map the Chart of Accounts, customer/vendor master files, and dimensional fields to corporate structure.
• Perform GL, AR, AP, and opening balance reconciliations; direct unit testing, parallel runs, and final cutover.
• Inventory all software and subscriptions, securing administrator rights and coordinating user access with corporate IT.

Shared Services Integration

• Create clear SOPs and train the Corporate Shared Services team on transferred workflows.
• Oversee parallel processing and sign off on handovers to ensure zero disruption to customer billing, vendor payments, or day-to-day operations.
• Maintain a master integration tracker covering action items, target dates, ownership, and risk flags.
• Deliver weekly structured updates to the CFO detailing Completed Tasks, Next Steps, Identified Risks, and Decisions Required.
• Act as an empathetic, grounded change agent on the ground to mitigate key-person retention risks and build trust with local staff.
