You will oversee Western divisions across multiple entities, drive the month-end close, and manage IFRS 16 lease accounting and related disclosures. Collaboration with Controllers, FP&A, IT, and operations is essential.

Qualifications

• CPA designation required.
• Extensive IFRS experience, particularly IFRS 16 lease accounting.
• Experience in a large, multi-entity organization.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting and reporting for Western divisions across multiple entities.
• Lead the month-end close, including journals, accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Manage IFRS 16 lease accounting, including ROUs, liabilities, disclosures.
• Own IFRS 16 lease conversion/implementation project.
• Review financial results, identify variances and unusual items.
• Oversee internal controls, reconciliations, audit support, and process improvements.
• Lead, coach, and develop accounting staff while hands-on with the function.
• Partner with Controller, FP&A, IT, and ops on cross-functional initiatives.
• Support ERP and other technology implementation projects.
