Job summary

Burke Recruiting Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead accounting and financial reporting. You will oversee day-to-day operations, budgeting, cash flow management, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, leading month-end close, managing accounts payable/receivable and payroll, and partnering with operations to monitor KPIs. CPA preferred and strong analytics and leadership required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA designation preferred or requried.
• 5 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience.
• 2 years in transportation, logistics, freight, distribution, or supply chain industries is a must.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, QuickBooks, Truckmate and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

• Develop financial models and business analyses to support strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA designation required or strongly preferred.
• 5 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience.
