Job Description

Coach Canada is seeking a results-driven Accounting Manager to oversee our financial operations in Peterborough. This role is ideal for a CPA (or candidate in progress) looking to step into a leadership position within a collaborative and growing organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily accounting operations and a high-performing finance team
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements
• Oversee cash flow, budgeting, and account reconciliations
• Manage accounts receivable/payable processes and financial reporting deadlines
• Support internal, external, and government audits
• Develop and implement financial policies, controls, and procedures
• Mentor and train accounting staff to improve team efficiency and performance
• Collaborate with leadership to provide strategic financial insights
• Utilize ERP systems and advanced Excel functions for reporting and analysis

Qualifications

• CPA designation or actively working toward it
• 3+ years of accounting experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role
