Altis Technology in Mississauga, ON is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations across Canada and the US. You will partner with a seasoned leadership team to ensure financial accuracy and robust reporting in a cross-border environment.

You’ll own month-end close, cash flow, budgeting, and compliance with US GAAP, while mentoring finance staff and improving internal controls. This role suits a hands-on leader who values collaboration and long-term growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a management role.
• Experience in manufacturing, including exposure to cost accounting, is a strong asset.
• Familiarity with multi-entity accounting, US sales tax, and cross-border operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation is an asset.
• Strong ERP proficiency and advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• A collaborative, hands-on approach and an interest in building a long-term career with an established organization.

• Manage cash flow reporting, bank reconciliations, and financial forecasting.
• Coordinate month-end close activities, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Support annual budgeting, year-end audits, and compliance with US GAAP.
• Manage US sales tax filings and support financial activities across multiple entities.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, strengthen controls, and resolve ERP-related issues.
