Job summary

Intact FC is hiring Accounting Interns for Summer 2027 in Montreal. You’ll gain hands-on experience in finance, with mentorship, leadership presentations, and community involvement. You’ll work 35 hours weekly from May to August 2027, contributing to meaningful deliverables within the Finance team.

You’ll develop skills in financial reporting, month-end close, and process improvement while interacting with senior leaders. This role offers growth and practical learning in a dynamic setting.

• Support month-end and quarter-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Participate in the review of transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Aid in the implementation and documentation of accounting processes and controls.
• Collaborate with team members on continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and systems.
• Maintain and update accounting records and databases, ensuring data integrity.
• Assist with special projects and ad-hoc requests, as necessary.

Salary for the candidate

Salary will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.
