Accounting Director | Global SaaS business | Toronto

Hybrid working (2 days in Toronto office)

C$180-220k + bonus + RSUs

Talentedge are delighted to be partnering with a global SaaS business on a newly created Accounting Director opportunity owing to explosive growth.

It’s fair to say that we know the business & hiring manager incredibly well having placed multiple people into their UK accounting function.

You’ll be fantastic for this opportunity, team and company if you are a hands‑on accounting leader who is equally commercial with strong team leadership qualities.

Key responsibilities to include:

• Have ownership over the global accounting function
• Ensure an efficient and smooth month end close for all global entities
• Partner closely with Sales & Commercial functions by providing technical accounting support around contracts & pricing (new business, existing & renewals)
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606
• Continually evolve processes and controls, utilising AI as much as possible
• Lead a team of globally located Manager-level reports (Toronto, California, London, India)

Ideal candidate profile:

• CPA (active), ideally former Manager level
• PCAOB / publicly traded company + high growth scaleup experience
• Confident business partner cross‑functionally
• Strong grasp of FinOps
• Significant team leader experience (coaching, developing and mentoring people to be ultra‑high performers)
