Dynamic Connections is expanding its Finance Team and seeks an Accounting Coordinator to join our Burlington office. You will support AR and AP processes, liaise with clients and vendors, and collaborate across teams to ensure accurate financial information.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in accounting (AR or AP).

• Experience in a fast-paced logistics or freight environment is a plus.

We’re growing our Finance Team and hiring an Accounting Coordinator who can pledge their skills to our team and our growing organization. You’ll join a team with other Accounting Coordinators, comprised of AR and AP professionals; reporting into an Accounting Manager. If you are new to the accounting profession and want to build your skills, this teams will deliver in abundance

Our business excels at communication, so you must be comfortable reaching out to clients, customers, or vendors by both phone and email – if you’re more comfortable on keyboard than a phone, this will not be the right role for you.

Our Finance Team is located at HQ; the team is highly collaborative and works very closely as a large group. You will join a competent team and get exposure to various processes and other senior finance functions. You will learn…a lot!

• Exceptional attention to detail. This is your most important quality; you catch errors and discrepancies…better yet, you find them before they become mistakes!
• Sound judgement – you can find discrepancies and catch anything problematic, making sure that work is done correctly (the first time) is essential.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude; this is a cross-functional role that deals with all our teams, but especially our Solutions (operations) team on a day-to-day basis. Understanding their requirements and delivering against them are key.
• Experience in either Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable – you don’t need both, we’ll cross-train you on the rest.
• You bring 2+ years of experience and have honed good practices, but you are ready to dive in and take on more responsibility. (This could be gained from work experience and/or co-op placements.)
• Our business is very fast moving, and our team is responsive and readily adapts to new challenges. You are adaptable but a sharp study who can thrive in a culture of change but applies their learnings and experience as we grow.
• You have used some previous accounting software and understand the functionality of this type of tool.
• You have experience in the logistics or freight industry and can readily apply your knowledge to our business – other industries are welcome too, but this is a strong plus.
• You’ve supported an acquisition or integration before and know how to build trust quickly with new partners and teams – we’re growing through M&A, so this comes up often.
• This is a full-time permanent position working with our Dynamic ‘Green Team’ in our vibrant, and bright Burlington office. You’ll work in our office four days a week collaborating with our team.
