Job summary

Freehold Royalties Ltd. seeks an Accounting Co-op Student to join the Finance team for a 12-month term starting January 2027. Reporting to the Controller, you will handle journal entries, reconciliations, ESTMA reporting, and accounts payable support while collaborating with multiple department leads.

Ideal candidates are B.Comm students in their 2nd or 3rd year, with strong analytical, organizational and communication skills. A hybrid in-office/remote schedule and mentorship are offered.

Qualifications

• Finance-focused commerce student returning to study after term.
• Interest in accounting and financial reporting.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries.
• Perform monthly reconciliations and assist with financial statements.
• Support ESTMA reporting and accounts payable processes.
• Analyze royalty payments and resolve discrepancies with partners.
• Co‑ordinate with department staff and communicate clearly.
