Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of an Accounting program.
• Completion of Canadian Tax course strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality work.
• Strong computer skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of Canadian personal income tax returns and related tax documentation.
• Provide support to Senior Staff, Managers, and Partners on a variety of accounting and tax engagements.
• Communicate with clients to obtain required information and documentation for assigned engagements.
• Assist with bookkeeping and accounting activities for clients, including businesses and professional proprietorships.
• Organize and maintain client files and supporting documentation while assisting with other accounting and administrative duties as required.

Working closely with Senior Staff, Managers, and Partners, you will contribute to client engagements and gain experience across accounting, taxation, bookkeeping, and client service. Candidate Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of a post-secondary Accounting program
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in accounting, taxation, or public practice, with completion of a Canadian Tax course strongly preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and consistently deliver high-quality work
• Strong technical and computer skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
