Job summary

BDO Canada is seeking a 4- or 8-month Co-op Student or Intern to join the Assurance or Financial Reporting & Insights team in September 2027. You will gain exposure to financial reporting, analysis, compliance, and teamwork across offices in London-Windsor and Kitchener-Waterloo.

The role is designed to offer a comprehensive learning experience while pursuing CPA designation. The compensation range is 50–56k CAD per year, with a blended in-office and virtual work model and flexible study leave

Qualifications

• Currently working towards a degree focused in accounting with the goal of becoming a CPA.
• Strong attention to detail, problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently utilize technical knowledge from courses to carry out work projects and assignments.
• Prepare and complete working papers, financial information, and compilation engagements per regulatory standards.
• Gather evidence for Assurance and Accounting engagements.
• Build positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to requests and suggestions.
• Communicate progress and issues with team members.
