Job summary

BDO Canada is seeking a Co-op Student or Intern for our London-Windsor offices (London, Windsor, Chatham, Strathroy, Woodstock) and Kitchener-Waterloo to join the Assurance or Financial Reporting & Insights team in September 2027. This role offers a comprehensive learning experience in accounting, financial reporting, and teamwork across multiple offices.

You will work closely with mentors, apply coursework to real engagements, and gain exposure to regulatory standards while developing

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an accounting degree with CPA goal.
• Desire to provide outstanding client service and a commitment to teamwork.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to take initiative.
• Strong attention to detail, problem solving, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently utilize technical knowledge from courses to carry out work projects and assignments.
• Prepare and complete working papers, financial information, and compilation engagements per regulatory standards.
• Gather evidence for Assurance and Accounting engagements.
• Build positive working relationships with clients and respond to requests and suggestions.
• Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues.
