Job summary

BDO Canada is seeking a Co-op Student or Intern to join the Assurance or Financial Reporting & Insights team in September 2027, for a 4- or 8-month term. The role offers exposure to financial reporting, analysis, compliance, and teamwork across London-Windsor and Kitchener-Waterloo offices.

The position emphasizes learning, client service, collaboration, and development of CPA-related skills in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently utilize technical knowledge from courses to carry out work projects and assignments
• Prepare and complete working papers, financial information, and compilation engagements per regulatory standards
• Gather evidence for Assurance and Accounting engagements
• Build positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to requests and suggestions
• Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis
