Job summary

SIGA in Saskatchewan is seeking a Finance Clerk to ensure accurate reconciliation and reporting of casino financial transactions within a regulated environment.

You will enter and reconcile cash-handling data daily and weekly, audit Cage paperwork, and respond to inquiries affecting Finance processes, under the Administration Manager’s guidance. Previous casino accounting exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Accounting diploma/certificate required to perform the role.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable and general accounting duties.
• Casino accounting/auditing experience is an asset.

This position focuses on risk mitigation and accountability, by providing thorough and accurate reconciliation and reporting of Casino financial transactions.

Responsibilities

Accurately entering and reconciling information from cash-handling Casino departments and functions: daily, weekly, or as otherwise scheduled. Auditing Cage paperwork. Responding to departmental inquiries regarding processes that impact, Finance functions. Handling other related tasks as assigned by the Administration Manager.

Qualifications

Successful completion of an accounting diploma or certificate from a recognized institution or acombination of relevant education, training and/or experience. Processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general administrative and accounting duties. Experience in accounting and auditing in a Casino environment is a definite asset.
