We are currently seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our Vancouver team to support the Accounting department. This position is ideal for a team player with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a proactive approach. The ideal candidate will have the ability to multi-task and possess excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable related to client disbursements and firm overhead, including vendor invoices, expense reimbursements, contractor payments, and partner fees
• Process intercompany transactions
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements
• Post disbursements such as Copitrak, BCOnline, LTSA, and levies
• Follow accounting policies and procedures
• Perform other related duties as required

What will help you succeed in this role?

• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience in a legal environment is highly desirable
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, especially Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Client service orientation and team player attitude
• Willingness to learn and grow, take on new responsibilities as needed
• Ability to excel in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
