Job summary

Scarboro Mazda is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our accounting team. This role supports Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, and month-end accounting. Training is provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Accounting diploma, certificate, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of accounting, bookkeeping, or reconciliation experience.
• Dealership experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices and payments
• Post accounts receivable payments and reconcile customer accounts
• Complete daily bank, cash, and credit card reconciliations
• Reconcile online sales and payments from Shopify, PayPal, and other platforms
• Assist with deal posting, inventory, and warranty receivables
• Support month-end accounting and maintain accurate records
• Perform other related accounting and administrative duties as required

Scarboro Mazda is looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our accounting team. This role supports Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, and month-end accounting. Training is provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Process account payable invoices and payments
• Post account receivable payments and reconcile customer accounts
• Complete daily bank, cash, and credit card reconciliations
• Reconcile online sales and payments from Shopify, PayPal, and other payment platforms
• Assist with deal posting, inventory, and warranty receivables
• Support month-end accounting and maintain accurate records
• Perform other related accounting and administrative duties as required

Duties and responsibilities may be adjusted from time to time based on operational needs and at management’s discretion.

Qualifications

• Accounting diploma, certificate, or equivalent experience
• 1+ year of accounting, bookkeeping, AP/AR, or reconciliation experience preferred
• Dealership or PBS experience is an asset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
