Overview

The Accounting Assistant (Part-time) supports the Accounts Receivable Team for billing, credit control, and collection activities. This role supports the finance lead in training and development and contributes to a robust control and compliance environment, as well as Operations Finance innovations and projects.

What will I be doing?
  • Contribute to and support the Accounts Receivable Team for the efficient operation of billing and collection, including activities related to credit control, billing and collection.
  • Analyze high volumes of crew billing through daily reconciliation to ensure accurate invoicing on third-party platforms.
  • Ensure smooth operation of billing in full compliance with policy, regulatory and contractual framework.

  • Proactive approach to identify and prevent potential problems.
  • Ability to help develop problem-solving skills among direct reports and other team members.
  • Ability to take initiative to identify, prioritize and implement elements required for the team to fulfill responsibilities.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills (with all levels of management and external customers).
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word and Outlook, with the ability to quickly learn new programs when required.
  • University degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).
