I'm looking for an accounting and treasury technician for my client in the heart of downtown Montreal. This is a permanent contract, in hybrid mode (1 day telecommuting and 4 days in the office).

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare cash orders and receive cash returns for shows.
2. Make GL entries for cash orders and returns.
3. Open suppliers on BNC.
4. Bank reconciliation for Spectra and various festivals (16 accounts).
5. Bank reconciliation of Corp Bar l'Etoile accounts (3 accounts).
6. Analysis of bank charges for Spectra and Festivals accounts.
7. Provide supervisor with cash position of Spectra accounts each morning.
8. Assist in reconciling Evenko GP and Evenko Festival accounts (month-end) during peak periods.

Qualifications:

1. College diploma or DEC in accounting.
2. 2 to 5 years' experience in accounting.
3. Solid experience in bank reconciliations.
4. Knowledge of Great Plains or Business Central is an asset.
5. Knowledge of the MS Office suite.
6. Desired qualities: initiative, autonomy, organization, thoroughness, teamwork.
7. Experience in the sports and/or entertainment sector is an asset.
8. Excellent written and oral communication skills in both French and English to communicate with stakeholders in the United States.
