Job summary

MNP is seeking an Accountant for the Terrace, BC office to join our Assurance & Accounting team, starting September 2027. You will work on compilations, reviews, audits, bookkeeping and tax, applying IFRS/GAAP/ASPE know-how to support clients in a dynamic, professional environment.

The role offers on-site work in Terrace with opportunities to develop client relationships, deliver tailored financial information and contribute to process improvements in a leading Canadian advisory firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration (accounting or finance major preferred).
• Prerequisites for CPA Professional Education Program (PEP) upon commencement of employment.
• Previous accounting-related office experience is an asset.
• Customer service or client service experience is an asset.
• Experience with accounting and tax software is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical skills in compilations, reviews, audits, bookkeeping and tax.
• Apply knowledge of IFRS/GAAP/ASPE.
• Set up files for new clients and manage multiple files.
