MNP LLP in Cornwall, ON is seeking an Accountant in Assurance and Accounting. You will conduct compilation, review, audit, bookkeeping and tax engagements while supporting diverse client needs in a changing financial reporting landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration (accounting or finance major preferred).
• Enrolled in the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP).
• 0–1 year of relevant accounting experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP, SEC and IFRS.
• Experience with accounting and tax software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct compilation, review, audit, bookkeeping and tax engagements.
• Set up files for new clients and manage multiple files; conduct inventory counts.
• Perform accounts receivable, accounts payable, asset acquisitions and payroll walkthroughs.
• Prepare balance sheet, profit and loss statements and other reports.
