Job description

Job Title: Director of Finance & HR (CFO)

The Greater London International Airport Authority, located in Southwestern Ontario, is known for its exceptional and friendly service, making it an ideal workplace for professionals seeking a dynamic role in a nonprofit environment. We are seeking a qualified accountant to join us in this full-time, permanent position, reporting directly to the Director of Finance & Human Resources. The successful candidate will be expected to work independently, demonstrate flexibility in responsibilities, and grow within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Accounts Receivable and Billing: Issue invoices, input transactions into billing and accounting systems (Aileron), maintain customer databases, review lease documentation, manage concession reports, oversee account collections, and reconcile payments.
  2. Fixed Assets: Maintain the fixed assets database, calculate and record amortization, manage asset additions and disposals, reconcile asset values with the general ledger, and conduct periodic asset inventories.
  3. Other Duties & Responsibilities: Support month-end procedures, prepare bank deposits, assist with accounts payable, manage office supplies, train backup payroll staff, assist with year-end audits, and perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of a college or university program in Business Accounting, with current enrollment in the CPA program.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a computerized financial environment, with knowledge of accounts receivable.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Microsoft Office, and preferably Aileron.
Additional Details:

Work hours are typical weekday office hours, totaling 37.5 hours per week. The salary range is $45,000 - $55,000 annually, commensurate with experience. We offer an excellent benefits package, including pension, along with a flexible in-office work schedule.
