Our client has an exciting new opportunity for an Accountant to join their team! This role reports to the Controller and focuses on transactional accounting, including AR, AP, journal entries, month-end, and other ad hoc projects. Responsibilities:

• Process and record accounts payable and receivable transactions in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Review, reconcile, and post invoices, payments, credit memos, and expense reports.
• Maintain accurate vendor and customer records in the accounting system.
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist with daily cash management.
• Reconcile sub-ledgers to the general ledger, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Assist in the month-end and year-end close process by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience with transactional accounting responsibilities
• CPA an asset but not required
• Eagerness to learn
