Job summary

Vaco is seeking an accounting professional to join our Canadian finance team. The role focuses on monthly close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting to ensure timely and accurate results.

Responsibilities include consolidations, variance analyses, and regulatory filings. You will support audits and cross-departmental process improvements to drive financial insight and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with exposure to IFRS 17.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Pursuing CPA designation, with hands-on experience using accounting systems and intermediate Excel skills.

About You

• A detail-oriented accounting professional with 4+ years of progressive accounting experience and exposure to IFRS 17
• Known for analytical thinking, independence, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Pursuing (or planning to pursue) a CPA designation, with hands‑on experience using accounting systems and intermediate Excel skills

Pay Range

$75,000 - $80,000 per year
