Job summary

Life Benefit Solutions, a division of People Corporation, seeks an Account Service Representative to manage a portfolio of Group Insurance & Retirement clients from Winnipeg, MB. This 12-month term, full-time, hybrid role offers travel to client sites and active client support.

You will educate plan members, host training sessions, respond to inquiries, and act as liaison among clients, carriers, and internal teams. Indigenous engagement is encouraged in cover letters.

Qualifications

  • Experience in group insurance, pension/retirement, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • A passion for delivering excellent client service.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Manage an assigned block of clients, delivering consistent and proactive service.
  • Host employee meetings and training sessions for plan administrators (in-person and virtual).
  • Educate plan members and administrators about their group insurance and retirement benefits.
  • Respond to client inquiries via email, phone, or meetings with professionalism and care.
  • Act as a liaison between clients, insurance carriers, and internal teams.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Collect and process documentation accurately and on time.
  • Identify and implement solutions to maintain a high standard of service.
  • Ensure service standards are met and tracked regularly.
  • Travel to client sites, including multi-day overnight trips on a regular basis (driver’s license and reliable, late-model vehicle required).
  • Support additional tasks and projects as needed.

Job description

We are searching for an Account Service Representative to join our dynamic Life Benefit Solutions team of high-achieving professionals dedicated to delivering an exceptional client experience. This is a fixed 12 month term, full-time, hybrid position based in Winnipeg, MB, with some flexibility for remote work.

The Account Service Representative will play a key role in managing and supporting a portfolio of Group Insurance & Retirement (Pension) clients.

The Account Service Representative Will

To be Successful as an Account Service Representative with Life Benefit Solutions, you will need
  • Experience in group insurance, pension/retirement, or a related field (preferred, not required)

The base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 per annum.

This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc.). The actual base salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
