Our growing company is in need of an Inside Sales Representative/Account Representative in our Toronto branch in Woodbridge, Ontario. The Account Representative sells company products and services via telephone, internet, e-mail, and fax. Works in conjunction with Field Sales Representatives, Product Management, and Sales Management to increase customer penetration and sales opportunities. Success is measured by meeting defined sales objectives and performing all duties with a high ethical standard and exceeding all customer requirements.

  • Sells products and services offered by TTI, including product lines, AIM programs, quality, and value-added services. Builds relationships and tailors sales approaches to meet customer needs. Success measured through monthly sales reporting, quality objectives, and management reviews.
  • Provides price and delivery quotes within customer timelines by collaborating with branch or corporate managers and manufacturers to secure competitive pricing. Success measured by booking high gross profit margin sales.
  • Processes customer orders accurately into the sales database to ensure timely delivery. Maintains quality standards, with performance measured by on-time delivery and RMA rates.
  • Expands product knowledge utilizing resources like product literature, factory representatives, and sales managers to effectively discuss options and sell TTI strengths.
  • Participates in the TTI Total Quality process by following policies to maintain efficient sales cycles, aiming to reduce errors and uphold quality. Performance measured by shipment lines per salesperson and error rates.
  • Increases customer base by generating leads and making cold calls, with growth in new customers as a performance indicator.
  • Prepares forecasts and activity reports to inform management about sales, marketing, and market strategies.
  • Attends sales calls with Field Sales Representatives to develop customer relationships and trust, leading to increased sales.
  • If designated as a quality representative, processes and resolves discrepancies efficiently, researching issues and providing proper dispositions.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years of sales experience or equivalent education and experience.
