Job description

Account Manager, Search & eCommerce

Purpose of Job:

The Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of a client's paid search and ecommerce initiatives. This includes developing strategy and managing the execution of Google search & Amazon campaigns based on the client's business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Define and manage Google Search & Amazon campaigns for Fortune 1000 clients
  2. Create, manage, and execute strategic search & Ecommerce plans that meet client goals
  3. Define a campaign strategy and deliverables plan that exceeds client expectations
  4. Create, present, and gain client approval on campaign strategies and tactics
  5. Oversee and deliver on Account Management business processes
  6. Maintain positive client relationships, expectations, and communications
  7. Forecast, generate and maximize revenue opportunities with clients
  8. Monitor, track, evaluate and optimize campaign performance to maximize client investment
  9. Build on an existing level of paid search expertise, and develop a reputation for innovation and efficiency
  10. Stay up to date with industry trends and developments in digital marketing as well as consumer behavior to recommend improvements to accounts
  11. Knowledge of creating Campaign built and launch, Keywords expansion, SQR analysis, Keywords analysis

Knowledge and Skills:

  1. Experience using search advertising platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads, Amazon)
  2. 2-3 years of account/client management skills and execution of complex paid search & ecommerce campaigns
  3. High level of attention to detail and the ability to handle and prioritize multiple accounts
  4. Ability to interact in a professional manner and deal with clients face-to-face
  5. Technical and analytical mindset
  6. Good to have basic knowledge of Google Analytics & Bid Management tools (SA360, Pacvue) and biddable social APIs
  7. High level of technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  8. Google & Amazon Certification is an asset
