Job description

As an Account Manager, you will manage a book of business by providing a range of operational, administrative, and call-based client support and relationship management with the goal of renewing client memberships and growing accounts through effective cross-selling.

Major Responsibilities
  1. Create and execute sales and service activity plans. Manage member lifecycle tasks, including scheduling and eventually leading calls.
  2. Own all account management conversations with secondary account stakeholders.
  3. Ensure members leverage their membership by delivering high-quality service to help drive renewal and future sales.
  4. Manage and respond to inbound requests from members.
  5. Assist in the preparation of member interactions by collecting and consolidating background information on individuals and organizations as well as their relationship with Info-Tech.
  6. Complete scheduled and ad hoc data queries of our CRM.
  7. Ensure the CRM contains accurate account details and contact information.
  8. Actively seek to increase product knowledge.
Education and Experience
  1. University degree.
  2. 3+ years of Account Management experience, with a proven track record of success.
  3. Experience working in the IT Research and Advisory market.
  4. Experience working as part of a team is an asset.
Skills
  1. Critical Thinking: Ability to assimilate complex information and communicate it simply. Effective internal and external communication. Understand value propositions and communicate clearly to members. Understand client needs/requests and relay them appropriately or seek analyst support.
  2. Planning & Organization: Set daily schedules, plan territory, and establish plans for account growth.
  3. Time Management: Manage the member lifecycle, schedule calls, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  4. Goal Setting: Set personal goals related to conversations, demonstrate commitment to professional development, and take ownership of performance. Monitor progress and seek assistance when off pace.
  5. Active Listening: Identify client needs, ask insightful questions, and listen attentively.
