Where do you come in?
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to join our E Solutions team in our Mississauga location. In this role, your core focus will be in working with assigned clients to manage their online store initiatives including product selection, inventory management, pricing and preparation for online store client access.
With a broad knowledge of branded merchandise, the Account Manager, E-Solutions will look for new business opportunities within their accounts, and ensure overall client satisfaction.
This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, effective interpersonal skills, and the ability to multi task on numerous facets of the business.
You will be responsible for providing the highest level of client service in the business while striving to maintain standards of professionalism that set the bar for an entire industry. You will do whatever it takes to meet every deadline; in short, become a quintessential Cotton Candy team member.
- Develop positive, respectful, long-term relationships between Cotton Candy and E-solution Clients.
- Work with the Director of Operations to establish online store sales goals for each client that fall under each Account Managers realm of responsibility.
- Responsible for onboarding new clients.
- Collaborate with Tech Team, Marketing and Design team and Warehousing team prior to commencing development of each new client online store program to ensure that all requirements of the online store are understood in advance of development.
- Develop clear and concise schedules/plans for each client e-store build and/or modifications to existing e-stores with assigned timelines and designated task related responsibilities.
- Work with clients to select new items to be offered on their store platforms and determine which items require removal.
- Brief and work with strategic sourcing specialists to source, quote and present product offerings, primarily utilizing our preferred programs suppliers which will ensure better pricing and deeper levels of inventory.
- Gain a high-level understanding of each client’s business, industry trends and goals.
- Utilize the online store to promote and support new sales opportunities with knowledge of the client’s objectives and business cycles, annual events, and marketing initiatives.
- Alongside purchasing team, ensure ongoing monitoring of inventory levels, initial buys, re-buys, and liquidation of discontinued stock, and review reports with feedback to client as to site progress and future recommendations.
- Understand the inner workings of company store programs including how the sites work and the numerous features we offer our clients, and be able to present high level understanding of the numerous functionalities offered through our e store platforms.
- Responsible for understanding the legal requirements as set out in the client agreements and will further be able to address all key performance indicators.
- Attend local supplier trade shows and in house supplier presentations.
What are we looking for?
- University or College education
- Proven experience in sales or account management, ideally in the promotional product or related industry with a track record of exemplary relationship building
- Understanding of online store builds
- Strong product knowledge
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Demonstrated leadership in academic, athletic, civic and/or professional endeavors
- Fluent with Microsoft Office and Outlook software
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong work ethic
- Client focused approach to business
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Creative and Innovative thinking
- Bilingual in French is considered a strong asset
