Position Description

We are recruiting an Account Manager for the Alberta & Saskatchewan provinces. This role offers the chance to work within a highly interactive and supportive surgical sales team. As an Account Manager covering Alberta, you will be an energetic self-starter who enjoys establishing strong relationships with clients and following up on leads. You will be a product expert, understanding surgeons' and their teams' needs and connecting with them on a personal level. Your responsibilities include:

  1. Achieving quarterly sales quotas for your territory
  2. Managing the full range of products in your territory
  3. Building and maintaining strong relationships with accounts
  4. Providing exceptional support and service to clients
Position Requirements
  • At least 2 years of medical/surgical device sales experience, including operating room experience
  • Experience calling on surgeons, OR directors, nurse managers, clinical coordinators, nurse educators, and materials management staff
  • Ability to establish professional relationships with key decision-makers in operating theatres and procurement departments
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Driven, enthusiastic, and a self-starter with a passion to succeed
  • Professional sales experience with formal sales training
  • Goal-oriented with entrepreneurial drive
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Residency in Alberta, preferably in Calgary or Edmonton
  • CRM proficiency
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, science, or nursing
  • Ability to meet third-party credentialing requirements, including COVID-19 vaccination if applicable
Additional Duties
  • Market opportunity identification and discussion with management
  • Monitoring market trends, including competitors and new technologies
  • Updating contacts, leads, and activities in CRM
  • Collaborating with teams to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Supporting workshops or congresses as needed
