Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY/PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with existing accounts or groups of accounts. Ensures order and revenue growth by analyzing customer needs and developing sales plans. Acts as the global point of contact for customer relationships, working with Program Managers to optimize the relationship focusing on sales strategy, support, customer service, technology development, and technical/post-sales support. Enforces contract compliance, negotiates price changes, and ensures accounts remain profitable and viable for Sanmina. Supports Program Managers with intercompany orders.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  1. Handle complex issues requiring in-depth analysis of situations or data.
  2. Use judgment to select methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria.
  3. Determine methods and procedures for new assignments.
  4. Make responsible decisions within scope of position.
  5. Support existing business and identify growth opportunities.
  6. Focus on increasing revenues, customer satisfaction, and profit margins.
  7. Provide monthly forecasts and manage account information.
  8. Assist in developing account budgets.
  9. Enforce contract terms and negotiate price changes.
  10. Support business review presentations and product price reviews.
  11. Support sales at component and product levels in a team environment.
  12. Network with key contacts outside own area.
  13. Present to management at customer sites and support account teams.
  14. Drive results related to revenue, profitability, inventory, service, and quality.
  15. Address supply chain issues, product transfers, new product launches, and commercial claims.
  16. Act as the primary contact for all Sanmina services.
  17. Develop and execute business plans and strategies for new business development.
  18. Analyze data and manage complex documents.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Generally requires a University degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in engineering, operations, or program management is a significant asset.
