Description

Required immediately, FLOFORM is seeking an experienced ACCOUNT MANAGER for the Victoria/Vancouver Island area! FLOFORM Countertops is a Canadian company with its head office in Winnipeg, MB, and has 16 branches and 5 manufacturing facilities located in Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest. FLOFORM manufactures, sells, and installs over 20,000 premium surface countertops annually. Established in 1961, FLOFORM is proud to be one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies.

Position Summary

The Account Manager fosters profitable relationships with new and existing clients (Dealers, Designers, Commercial, and Architecture, etc.) and serves as the primary business contact within a designated area.

  • 4 – 7 years sales experience
  • Proven ability to proactively grow the business in the assigned segment
  • Basic computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office; ability to learn other software
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Diplomacy and respect in challenging situations

  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Strong selling and follow-up skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage time and goals independently
  • Ability to lift between 25-60 lbs.
  • Willingness to travel locally daily and occasionally evenings and weekends
  • Valid Driver’s License and criminal record check
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain regular two-way communication with clients and the company, representing FLOFORM professionally
  • Manage an active account list of architects, designers, general contractors, and millwork accounts
  • Understand and communicate company capabilities and services
  • Provide quotes, assist in product selection, and promote new products and color lines
  • Manage dealer display boards and sample orders
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations
  • Monitor and report on sales trends and budgets
  • Represent the company at professional associations and conduct client visits
  • Support commercial projects, facilitate orders, and track project status
  • Coordinate supplies and process material takeoffs
  • Respond to customer inquiries and complaints, collaborating with other departments
