Job summary

SafetyCo in Barrie, Ontario is seeking an Account Manager to bridge client inquiries with long-term relationships. You will oversee onboarding, inside sales, and account management, guiding clients from first contact to service delivery while identifying opportunities to expand SafetyCo’s value.

You will collaborate with Operations, Training, Marketing, and Client Success to ensure a seamless, professional client journey and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in client onboarding, implementation, customer success, or account management.
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
  • Experience in health and safety or professional services is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for clients throughout their journey with SafetyCo.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and requests; coordinate onboarding for new clients.
  • Schedule discovery meetings; ensure client requirements are completed.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key client stakeholders.
  • Qualify opportunities and guide clients toward appropriate SafetyCo solutions.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and client documentation; track activities.

Hours: 8:00-4:30 (occasional flexibility required)

As our Account Manager, you’ll be the bridge between prospective clients and long-term relationships. This role combines the best of customer success, inside sales and account management. You’ll guide organizations from their first inquiry through onboarding while identifying opportunities to deepen relationships and expand the value we provide.

You’ll work closely with our Operations, Training, Marketing, and Client Success teams to ensure every client experiences a smooth, professional journey that reflects our commitment to making workplaces safer.

This isn’t a role for someone looking to simply process requests. We’re looking for someone who is energized by building relationships, solving problems, uncovering opportunities, and creating remarkable experiences that clients remember.

What You’ll Do

Client Experience

  • Become the trusted point of contact for clients throughout their journey with SafetyCo
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and requests
  • Coordinate onboarding for new clients, ensuring a seamless implementation experience
  • Schedule discovery meetings and ensure all client requirements are completed
  • Build strong relationships with key client stakeholders
  • Resolve issues quickly while maintaining a positive client experience

Business Development & Growth

  • Follow up on inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns
  • Qualify opportunities and guide prospective clients toward the right solutions
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and service recommendationsIdentify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across SafetyCo’s full suite of services
  • Re-engage dormant clients and support client retention initiatives
  • Support revenue growth through exceptional relationship management rather than high-pressure sales

Reporting & Administration

  • Maintain accurate CRM records and client documentation
  • Track client activity, sales opportunities, and follow-up tasks
  • Monitor client satisfaction and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Prepare reports and insights for leadershipContinuously improve workflows, templates, and client processes

What You Bring

Required:

  • 3+ years of experience in client onboarding, implementation, customer success, project coordination, or account management
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms

Preferred:

  • Experience in health and safety, workforce training, education, or professional services
  • Knowledge of CRM platforms such as Zoho, Salesforce, or HubSpot
