Job Title: Packaging Consultant (Account Executive)

We are currently hiring a Packaging Consultant (Account Executive) responsible for maximizing sales and profitability through prospecting, business retention, and account development.

Key Accountabilities:
  1. Prospecting: Identify, secure, and develop new customers through consultative selling of solutions. Develop proposals and close deals confidently.
  2. Business Retention: Maintain existing business using Berlin’s sales tools and resources.
  3. Account Development: Grow existing customer accounts by maximizing sales and profitability with new and existing products.
  4. Project Management: Collaborate with Berlin Packaging’s sales and service divisions to complete complex sales transactions.
  5. Develop and maintain effective working relationships, ensuring contractual obligations are met.
  6. Establish strong supplier relationships and deepen product knowledge.
  7. Utilize Salesforce, marketing tools, and other systems effectively to secure business.
  8. Ensure customer satisfaction and 'Customer Thrill.'
  9. Support branch metrics and company values.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of successful B2B sales experience involving complex projects and relationship management, resulting in revenue growth.
  • Customer-focused with attention to detail and a merchant mentality.
  • Strong business and financial understanding, with a desire for continuous learning.
  • Ability to articulate Berlin Packaging’s value proposition, products, and services.
  • Effective collaboration with internal teams and use of sales tools to develop and retain accounts.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, creative, passionate, and competitive.
  • High urgency, strong time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Salesforce CRM preferred.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

The role involves office work and significant travel to customer locations.
