CARMA Corp. in Toronto, ON is seeking an Account Executive for Commercial – Eastern Canada to cultivate business relationships, manage key client accounts, and drive sales opportunities across Ontario, Quebec, and the Maritimes.
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, you will prepare proposals, coordinate with engineers and contractors, maintain the CRM, and lead direct selling, networking, and market initiatives to grow CARMA’s submetering and utility billing business.

If you’re passionate about building strong business relationships and thrive in a collaborative, performance-driven environment, we have an exciting opportunity for an Account Executive to join our Sales team in Toronto, ON. Our core business hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (may vary depending on the role). This role supports our commercial growth across Eastern Canada and is ideal for a results-oriented professional who enjoys developing new business, managing key client relationships, and contributing to strategic sales initiatives within the submetering and utility billing industry.
Under the general direction of the Chief Executive Officer, an Account Executive develops business relationships within the defined sales territory and market, provides client support, & monitors client satisfaction, generates sales opportunities, adopts the company’s marketing tools and identifies potential marketing initiatives, prepares cost estimates and customer quotations, and updates the CRM on a daily / as needed basis.
This position requires expertise in sales, marketing, administrative, project management, and technical skills. Specifically targeting & securing business relationships in the Commercial sector (Office, Retail, Institutional) in Eastern Canada (Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia) with Wholesalers, Contractors, Engineers and School Boards, as well as client support with the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Major responsibilities include management of CARMA’s existing large Commercial Clients to generate additional revenue, facilitating channel engagement with Engineers, Wholesalers and Contractors and general direct selling through the use of cold calls, sales leads, sales presentations, networking events and maintaining & developing business relationships.
