Commercial Account Executive

As a Commercial Account Executive at Tipalti, you will play a vital role in our dynamic sales team, selling our SaaS Fintech solution. Your primary focus will be achieving revenue targets through outbound sales activity and inbound leads generated through the collaborative efforts of our SDRs, Marketing, and Alliance partners.

To empower your success, we heavily invest in our sales organization, providing you with a state-of-the-art technology stack. Leveraging tools such as SalesForce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, 6Sense, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Chorus, and Clari, you will engage prospects effectively.

The role involves building strong relationships and delivering tailored solutions that meet clients' needs. This position demands a proactive, results-driven approach, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of our products or services.

In this role, you will be responsible for

  • Owning the sales cycle - from prospecting to deal closure
  • Consistently achieving and exceeding quota to meet revenue and growth objectives
  • Understanding the Tipalti product value and communicating its business impact to decision makers
  • Sourcing new opportunities by meeting activity metrics
  • Partnering with internal teams to meet customer needs

About you

  • Minimum 2+ years of direct sales experience in SaaS and related technology industries
  • Proven ability to drive and close sales deals, with a good understanding of sales processes and market trends
  • Track record of exceeding sales quotas
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building client relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to qualify inbound leads and target outbound prospect accounts
  • Experience using automated technology to run demos

The annual OTE for this role is $160,000 - $190,000 CAD, with an estimated base salary of $80,000 - $95,000 CAD.
