Overview

The Account Executive is responsible for managing and coordinating the day-to-day agency efforts on behalf of the clients account; an integrated AOR Canadian Telecom client. Primarily responsible for the execution of all projects for the brand.

The successful Account Executive is someone who :

  • Is passionate about advertising and the creative process
  • Has a clear understanding of internal advertising processes, supporting day-to-day account operations for a large integrated AOR account
  • Has a clear understanding of creative asset management, and execution with the oversight of account supervisors
  • Has the ability to establish strong relationships with agency partners of all levels

Responsibilities

  • Building rapport and credibility with clients based on trust and expert counsel
  • Synchronizing communications between account teams, vendors, and clients
  • Tracking all billing and payment records
  • Understanding client positioning and strategy
  • Curating accurate and thorough documentation : status reports, contact reports, timelines, etc.
  • Taking ownership of day-to-day tactics and executions within the agency
  • Developing strong and positive working relationships with creative, traffic, project management, finance, and other departments
  • Communicating timelines & booking internal meetings / reviews with the support of the Integrated Project Managers
  • Supporting in sourcing studio contacts
  • Providing input, consultation, and cooperation with other agency and client partners

Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years of agency account management experience
  • Experience working in an advertising or marketing agency setting
  • Solid understanding of the various integrated executional channels including : Broadcast, Digital, Social
  • Ability to independently complete assigned tasks successfully and on time
  • Ability to manage and support multiple projects – multi-task, prioritize, and adjust quickly to changing priorities
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrates initiative, and is proactive
  • Creative and quick conceptual thinker and problem solver
  • Ability to work well under pressure and with strict deadlines
