Job summary

Assemble in Toronto is seeking a results-driven sales professional to join our membership-focused team. You will contact top-level decision-makers, understand their challenges, and present a high-value, intangible solution that accelerates growth.

This hybrid role offers a base in CAD plus uncapped USD commissions, ramp-up bonuses, and a clear path to six-figure earnings in a fast-growing, collaborative environment with three days in our downtown Toronto office.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of sales experience (or equivalent commercial experience)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication across formats (phone, email, social)
  • General business acumen with understanding of Fortune 1000 companies
  • Self-motivated, determined, and driven with problem-solving ability
  • Ambitious, results-oriented, entrepreneurial and accountable
  • Ability to cold call senior-level executives
  • Professional presence when dealing with prospects and members

Responsibilities

  • Contact top-level decision-makers to join our membership communities
  • Discuss challenges and goals, pitching valuable, intangible solutions
  • Manage sales pipeline and strategize conversion plans through enterprise procurement processes
  • Identify new business opportunities from multiple sources
  • Cold call, outreach, and scheduling with prospects
  • Meet or exceed quarterly quota
  • Build deep, long-term relationships with members
  • Stay up-to-date with member stories, industry trends, and competitor activity
  • Demonstrate energy and passion externally with customers and internally with the team
  • Collaborate across departments to drive results

We Offer a Competitive Compensation Structure Which Includes

Base Salary (CAD) + Uncapped Commission(in USD Dollars) + Ramp-up bonus incentives(in USD Dollars) with overall target earnings of $150,000 annually.

Where is this role located?

This is a hybrid position based out of Toronto, Canada.

How You’ll Contribute
  • Contact top-level decision-making leaders to join our membership communities
  • Talk with prospects and gain an understanding of their challenges and goals, while pitching a highly valuable, yet intangible solution.
  • Manage pipeline of sales opportunities with ability to strategize conversion plans including navigating enterprise level procurement processes
  • Identify new business opportunities from a range of sources
  • Ability to cold call, conduct outreach, and schedule with prospects
  • Meet or exceed quarterly quota
  • Build deep, long-term, empathetic relationships
  • Keep up to date with member stories & activities, current industry trends, market activities, the competitive landscape
  • Demonstrate passion and energy, both externally with the customer and internally with our team
  • Strong collaboration skills in working in across departments
