Overview:

Mitel is seeking a motivated Account Executive to join our sales team in Canada. The ideal candidate will drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and channel partners.

Please note this position will require language skills as you will be operating with our partners globally. Therefore, we will require the successful candidates to have the ability to speak dual-language in French and English.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct direct sales activities to meet and exceed sales targets
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Canadian market
  3. Develop and maintain strong client relationships through virtual meetings and F2F interactions
  4. Represent the company at trade shows and industry events
  5. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales strategies
  6. Provide regular reports on sales activities and performance
  7. Deliver forecasts to leadership and maintain salesforce hygiene
  8. Navigate Mitel systems and organization for support and collaboration
  9. Understand and position Mitel solutions and roadmap
  10. Leverage sales skills such as MEDPICC, Richardson or similar sales methodologies

Requirements:

  1. Bi-lingual in French
  2. Bachelor's degree, or experience in lieu of education
  3. 3+ years of proven experience in direct sales, preferably in the Canadian market with a focus on telecommunication, enterprise networking and/or associated technologies
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Background with salesforce and/or alternative CRM tools to maintain funnel and organize account plans and opportunity plans
  6. Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  7. Willingness to travel within Canada
