Job description

Please only apply if you have a minimum of 24 consecutive months experience as an AE or SDR selling in a sales environment characterized as follows;

  • Selling to Owner / operators with 1- 25 employees (Mid-Market or Enterprise experience will not be considered)
  • Short Sales Cycle: 1 day to 2 weeks. Closing prospects during their first demo is your strength!
  • Selling SAAS subscriptions based on monthly or annual recurring contracts (most are monthly)
  • Monthly customer revenue ranges from $64 – $400 per month.
  • Accustomed to high calling volume of min 50+ calls per day.

About the role : Account Executive (“AE”)

MioCommerce is seeking to hire multiple full-time Account Executives to join our Sales team. Reporting to MioCommerce’s Head of Growth, you’ll be focused on leading the full sales cycle and closing deals with prospective Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) and Affiliate partners, in the Home and Commercial Services industry.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will be responsible for driving monthly revenue growth through zoom-delivered demos, email marketing (using MioCommerce’s CRM, Hubspot), live chat/messaging, and live screen-sharing presentations to prospective customers.

The company headquarters is located in Montreal, Canada. Preference will be given to candidates located in North American Time Zones.

About you

You have experience selling SaaS technology solutions in a very short sales cycle environment and thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy work environment. You enjoy working in a full-cycle inside sales environment (Sales, Customer Support, Customer Success). If you are ambitious and want to join a revenue-positive, early-stage startup that aims to disrupt the Home & Commercial Service industry and want to rapidly become an Industry Knowledge Expert in this high-growth sector, MioCommerce is the place for you. (Note: this role is not suitable for those looking to sell high-ticket deals to Mid-Market or Enterprise organizations)

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage and follow up on qualified leads, converting prospects, signups, and free users into paying customers
  • Identify new business opportunities
  • Achieve and surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas
  • Lead one-on-one screen-sharing demos, product tutorials, and customer support sessions
  • Coordinate with the growth team to set appointments and guide prospects through the sales process to activation
  • Track and communicate with prospects in Hubspot
  • Create and track prospect lists via online, third-party channels, chat, or other sources

Team Responsibilities

  • Participate with co-founders in defining and executing CRM and onboarding strategies
  • Develop and refine sales/on-boarding scripts and protocols for continuous improvement
  • Be power-users of MioCommerce’s CRM (currently Hubspot)
  • Achieve clear customer acquisition targets

Experience required

  • Must be currently located in North American Time Zones
  • At least 2+ years of consecutive sales experience with the same employer, preferably in SaaS or e-commerce solutions
  • Excellent English skills (written and spoken)
  • Knowledge of videoconferencing, screen sharing, and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Hubspot)
  • Passionate about technology, people, and entrepreneurship
  • Ability to switch between strategic initiatives and operational activities
  • Business savvy and unafraid to take on challenges
  • Empathetic listener

Pluses:

  • Spanish speaking skills
  • Experience with Hubspot, Intercom
  • Graphic Design, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Suite
  • Web building skills (HTML, CSS, WordPress)
  • Knowledge of anti-spam laws
