Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years in industry, sales, or customer service.
  • Ability to pass criminal and credit checks.

We are looking for an Account Executive to join our Commercial Team, working from one of our offices located in the Southern Alberta Region on a permanent full-time basis.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Sell commercial insurance policies
  • Develop and maintain a prospect list
  • Build and sustain excellent customer relationships, including site visits
  • Stay informed on market trends, products, and pricing
  • Prepare proposals and coordinate account placement with insurance carriers
  • Gather and document relevant information to ensure appropriate coverage and service
  • Maintain quality in the book of business by adhering to underwriting rules and best practices
  • Arrange payment terms for new sales and ensure timely collections
  • Support customers during the claims process

Candidate Requirements:

  • High School diploma and/or Post-Secondary education
  • AIC Level I or II General Insurance License
  • 5+ years of Commercial Insurance experience
  • 5-7+ years in industry, sales, or customer service
  • Proficiency in EPIC, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to pass criminal and credit checks
