Job summary

DAC Group in Toronto is seeking an Account Director to deliver senior client service and strategic leadership across digital media, content strategy, web and app development. You will lead cross-functional teams to ensure client objectives and growth targets are met, while managing budgets and high-level relationships.

The role requires 7+ years in client services, 3+ years in an ad agency, and strong presentation skills.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years experience in a client services position, managing clients and responsible for account growth.
  • 3+ years working for an advertising agency, managing digital programs (e.g. SEO, SEM, Social Media, Mobile, etc.)
  • 2+ years experience leading an account team and related budget.
  • Experience managing Fortune 500 companies.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience presenting and selling to high-level decision-makers at enterprise brands with a national scope.
  • Experience developing strategic plans with clients.
  • MS Office proficiency, especially PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Provide senior account direction and people leadership to our high-performance team of Account Managers and Executives.
  • Develop an understanding of the client’s industry, marketing strategy and goals.
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships.
  • Manage internal project implementation including client briefings, proposals, tracking data, QA, and reporting.
  • Coordinate collaboration among internal teams to meet client objectives and goals.
  • Monitor KPIs and ensure program performance meets targets.
  • Support new business initiatives including pitches, RFP responses, and events.
  • Build relationships with clients and senior executives for day-to-day inquiries and deliverables.
  • Create regular reports (Contact, Status, Budget) per DAC standards.
  • Develop annual account plans to meet revenue growth and profitability targets.
