AIG Canada invites a Business Analyst to join the Accident & Health team, shaping growth through data-driven analysis and broker network development. You will build forecasting models, support submissions, and prepare tailored proposals for a diverse client base.

Travel up to 20% across Canada is expected as you collaborate with senior leaders, attend client events, and contribute to market insights. A degree in Business/Finance/Math and 1–2 years in insurance or analytics are preferred; strong

Qualifications

  • University or college degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in insurance, financial services, or a related analytical or client-facing role.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills; comfortable building models and working with data in Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present clearly.
  • Extroverted and relationship-oriented; comfortable client interaction.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, with multitasking ability.
  • CEBS/GBA or other insurance designation is a plus; Life & A&S license is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Support senior leadership in activating a national broker and consultant network to generate new business opportunities.
  • Manage the new business pipeline: track submissions, coordinate timelines, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Attend client meetings and broker events alongside senior team members to leverage AIG's distribution network.
  • Assist in preparing broker presentations, pitch decks, and tailored proposals.
  • Build premium forecasting models to support planning, budgeting, and growth targets.
  • Produce management reporting on new business activity, pipeline health, renewal rates, and portfolio performance.
  • Develop dashboards and executive summaries translating data into clear insights for leadership.
  • Coordinate end-to-end RFP responses with underwriting and content management.
  • Develop knowledge of A&H underwriting fundamentals and act as liaison between sales and underwriting.
  • Identify process improvements to speed up go-to-market execution and support policy issuance.
